Our Annual Safety Inspection covers everything on your trailer from nose to tail and roof to frame and wheels. We inspect structural, electrical, safety and aesthetic components on your trailer.

We remove the wheels, bearings, and bearing seals, make sure all moving parts inside the wheel (wheel bearings, brakes, etc) are in good, working condition, re-pack the bearings with new grease seals, and put everything back together. You will receive a printed report with anything we notate on your trailer for you to keep with your records.

The visual inspection doesn’t stop there, we also cover the following :

  • Hitch, coupling, pins, safety chains, jacks
  • Axle condition, fenders, tire size, load range, condition and age
  • Frame, roof and floor, wall condition; broken welds, rust, rot and corrosion, missing rivets, roof seal
  • Windows, doors, and ramps: dents, locking mechanisms, weather stripping, hinges, safety bars
  • Interior: partition locking, injurious protrusions, chest and butt bars, rubber mats
  • Electrical wiring, lights, safety markers, batteries, breakaway systems

Our Annual Safety Inspection is $299.00, before tax, for the labor and materials involved in the inspection process. If repairs or materials are needed, our office will notify you before moving forward.

Our Annual Safety Inspection also doubles as a Pre-Purchase Exam if you are looking to buy a trailer. This can be super beneficial when looking at purchasing a used trailer to prevent any unknown needed repairs.
