“Jackson” is a 2014 15.1hh smokey buckskin registered Quarter Horse.
Stacey bought Jackson as a 2 year old and developed him into the steady Eddy he is today. He has a relaxed walk, nice trot and canter, all with nice long strides. Jackson is athletic and could go in any direction you like. He would make a great hunter pony or a trail horse. He is very quiet on the trails and calm around traffic, crosses water, bridges, etc. Stands for farrier, grooming, etc. Loads and waits patiently on the trailer… this gelding has the manners of your favorite horse. You know, the horse that is a pleasure to have in your stable.
Jackson has the personality of a seasoned been-there-done that horse. He is calm and level headed. Jackson would make a great horse for a beginner. He is sensitive to the aids and responds well without being overly sensitive about his surroundings. This is a gelding that has been started right, with respect given to his growing body and brain. He is still young, and sometimes shows his goofy, teenager side.. but never by misbehaving. He likes to pick up things with his mouth (which I find adorable) and still very curious about the world.
